Foundations of Telehealth

The purpose of this webinar is to provide an overview of telehealth and review the basics. Specific objectives include (1) define telehealth; (2) carry out the five components of a telehealth session; (3) describe the evidence related to telehealth; and (4) answer frequently asked questions, and dispel myths about telehealth.

Troubleshooting Telehealth Sessions

The purpose of this webinar is to provide information about how to use the family’s strengths and children’s interests to promote engagement in a telehealth session. An overview of how to use behavior management strategies via telehealth is provided. Specific objectives include (1) identify how to use child and family strengths to promote engagement in telehealth sessions; (2) implement strategies to address behavior management via telehealth; and (3) use coaching strategies to engage parents and caregivers in difficult telehealth sessions.

Speech Therapy Interventions for Telehealth Delivery

The purpose of this webinar is to offer tips, strategies, and examples of how to use telehealth to deliver speech language pathology interventions. Specific objectives include (1) describe how to approach conducting a successful telehealth session, from pre-session to post-session; (2) describe a process that an SLP uses to apply various interventions across communication domains through telehealth; and (3) describe troubleshooting and problem-solving considerations and other concerns.

Speech Therapy Progress Monitoring via Telehealth

The purpose of this webinar is to provide information about how an SLP may gather data from multiple sources via telehealth to inform progress monitoring. Specific objectives include (1) discuss how to use clinical and behavioral observations to monitor progress via telehealth; (2) identify the important role of parent participation in progress monitoring; and (3) identify methods of data collection and informal assessment via telehealth.
