Breathe Easier with Respiratory Disorder Treatment

October 13, 2021
7:00 - 9:00 p.m. ET

Patients with respiratory illnesses such as COPD, asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, pneumonia, and COVID-19, often develop associated speech and swallowing disorders. They may require SLP assessment and interventions to ensure verbal communication, nutrition, and hydration and to reduce the risk of aspiration. We’ll identify the signs you need to look out for, what interventions to consider, and how to be an advocate for patients. Let’s chat! Bring your questions to share and learn about our role in assessment and treatment of these patients.
