This live online chat will address the importance of broadening the Life Participation Approach to Aphasia (LPAA; LPAA Project Group, 2000) to speech and language disorders across the spectrum of adult neurogenic language disorders including dementia, traumatic brain injury, and primary progressive aphasia. We have a "Social Imperative" as a profession to support individuals and families with neurogenic communication disorders in living the best lives they can. We invite clinicians, students, and researchers to join us for what we hope will be a lively and interesting discussion. Please bring your ideas and questions!
