Essential functions exist as a guide for determining foundational skills and abilities necessary for graduate clinicians to fully participate in and benefit from graduate clinical experiences and to be successful in the workplace. The implementation of Essential Functions varies from one program to the next. The Live Chat is designed to allow participants to discuss ways in which Essential Functions are used in their programs. Important considerations for students with disabilities and/or accommodations will be highlighted through the discussion.
