Michigan Licensees and CE Broker

The Michigan Bureau of Professional Licensing (BPL) has recently partnered with CE Broker. Those who are licensed by the Boards of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology are among the professions that may use CE Broker to track their continuing education credits. However, Michigan licensees are not required to enter continuing education credits into CE Broker in order to submit for license renewal.
We have engaged in conversations with both the Michigan BPL Director and CE Broker staff. At this time, current conditions do not support ASHA CE sending Michigan licensee course completion information to CE Broker.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will stay in contact with both the Michigan BPL nd CE Broker. If you have any concerns, please email Carrie Stanley at cstanley@asha.org. There is no change in the long-standing and successful relationship that ASHA CE has with the Florida, Ohio, and South Carolina boards and CE Broker.
