Verification of ASHA certification can now be accomplished online. The online ASHA Certification Verification system is free, and ASHA certificate holders can use it to quickly and easily download and print an official ASHA verification letter for their employers or relevant regulatory agencies.
Employers, state licensure or regulatory agencies, and consumers can also use the ASHA Certification Verification system to search ASHA's list of certificate holders and verify the certification of a third party. If needed, a letter can then be printed to confirm the results of the search.

Verification letters are mailed, faxed, or emailed within 3 to 5 days of receipt of the request. To request a verification letter, please provide the ASHA account number of the certificate holder, and the address to which the letter should be mailed or the fax number to which the letter should be sent. Please note that the National Office cannot provide copies of an individual's documents submitted for certification or information on his or her Praxis examination results used for certification (i.e., date and/or score earned on one or more exams).
