International Professional Associations

The following international country associations represent the professions of speech-language pathology and audiology.

Asia Pacific Society of Speech, Language and Hearing (APSSLH)
"The APSSLH is a professional organization for researchers and practitioners around the world who are interested in speech, language, and hearing topics related to Asia Pacific languages and populations as well as the development of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology professions in Asia Pacific Regions."

Coalition for Global Hearing Health
"The purpose of the Coalition for Global Hearing Health is to advocate for effective hearing health services and policies, to equip and empower hearing healthcare professionals, families, educators, communities and those with hearing loss, and to encourage and perpetuate best practices."

European Speech and Language Therapy Association (ESLA)
"ESLA is the umbrella organisation for Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Associations across Europe. We currently have 37 member associations in 34 countries, representing over 40,000 SLT professionals."

European Federation of Audiology Societies
The European Federation of Audiology Societies is dedicated to "spreading audiology advances, education, and training in all European countries, for the benefit of the patients, both children and adults, with hearing disorders."

International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders (IALP)
"IALP has a global vision to facilitate better understanding, knowledge and care of all those with communication and swallowing disorders. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of individuals with disorders of communication, speech, language, voice, hearing and swallowing." International Evoked Response Audiometry Study Group (IERASG)
