Audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and speech-language assistants are all regulated by the Guam Board of Allied Health Examiners. An audiologist must possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) issued by ASHA as evidence of professional training and experience.
A speech-language pathologist must possess a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA as evidence of professional training and experience.
Speech-language assistant must possess at least a bachelor's degree in speech and language or communication disorders. The Board of Allied Health Examiners may establish further qualifications for speech-language assistants.
