Individuals with this endorsement may serve as an audiologist or consultant for programs involving those from birth through age 21.
Requirements:
Individuals with this teaching endorsement may provide speech-language pathology services to and consultative services for those from birth through age 21 or completion of their Individualized Education Program.
Endorsement Program Requirements: Nebraska teacher education institutions offering this endorsement program must have on file, within the institution, a plan which identifies the courses and the course completion requirements which the institution utilizes to grant credit toward completion of this endorsement.
Submit a passing score for the applicable content test (PRAXIS 5331) for the first-time placement of this endorsement on a Nebraska certificate or permit. (Praxis 0330/5330 Speech Language Pathology also accepted.)
Individuals without one year of service in the past five years must complete six semester credit hours. All others may renew their certificate upon verification of experience.
