100 Voices, One Future Presentations

Advancing Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology for the Next 100 Years

ASHA is celebrating 100 years of advancing audiology and speech-language pathology, and we need YOUR voice to help shape the future! As part of our Centennial recruitment initiative, 100 Voices, One Future: Advancing Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, we are looking for 100 ASHA members to share their passion and experiences with middle and high school students.

This is your opportunity to introduce young minds to the rewarding careers in audiology and speech-language pathology, helping to build a diverse and vibrant future for our professions. Whether through classroom visits, career fairs, or virtual presentations, your voice can make a lasting impact.

Join us in inspiring the next generation—because the future of communication health starts with you!

Want to Present?

Contact your local middle school and/or high school to speak with a guidance or career counselor. Ask if there is a career fair, career day, world language class, or health career class that you could speak to for 10–30 minutes.

Perhaps you have time after school or during the summer? Consider reaching out to your local Boys and Girls club, scout troops, or summer school program to provide a presentation.

The first 100 members to present will receive a thank you gift!

Developing the Presentation

You may have a limited time or up to an hour to present, so we have created tips and suggested formats to make it easy.

Use ASHA's Facilitators Guide for suggested formats, tips and ideas, and resources to help create an engaging presentation.

Don't forget to obtain an approximate number of students who attended your presentation and possibly take a photo to commemorate your experience. We’d love to see you presenting, but no student faces, please.

Any questions? Email careers@asha.org.
