ASHA CE does not require any specific format. What your documentation looks like will depend on your organization, the systems you use, and your organization’s preferences. Here are some resources to help you develop or refine your process documentation.
The following information (ASHA CE Standard 1.2 and the applicable excerpt from the ASHA CE Policies webpage) clearly stipulate the need for process documentation.
NOTE: ASHA CE Providers are expected to comply with these standards and policies by July 1, 2025.
“The provider must:
1.2.1 Establish internal policies and a review process that ensure adherence to current ASHA CE Standards and related policies.”
“The Provider must document, follow, and update internal policies and procedures that ensure adherence to the Standards for ASHA CE Providers and ASHA CE Policies. All relevant personnel must be trained in these policies and procedures, and documentation must be made available to ASHA CE upon request.”
