ASHA CE Policies: Course Registration
Course Submission Expectations
- Courses must be submitted through the ASHA CE Provider Portal.
- Providers are expected to enter accurate, compliant, and complete information when submitting courses through the ASHA CE Provider Portal.
- New All required course information and supporting documentation must be submitted in English for review.
Course Submission Deadlines
First Course Offering (15 days)
- Courses (except cooperatives) must be submitted via the ASHA CE Provider Portal no less than 15 calendar days [PDF] before the starting date of the first course offering. The start date is not counted in the 15 days (e.g., if the course starts on 9/27, then it must be submitted no later than 9/12; the start date is day 16).
Additional Course Offerings (3 days)
- Additional course offerings must be submitted no less than 3 calendar days [PDF] before the start date of the offering. The start date is not counted in the 3 days (e.g., if the offering starts on 9/27, then it must be submitted no later than 9/24; the start date is day 4).
Course Offering Considerations
- A live, blended group or independent-study course offering must start and end in the same calendar year.
- Individual self-study course offerings must start and end in the same month.
- All course offerings added to previously registered self-study courses must be registered as monthly offerings that start and end in the same month.
Course and Offering Changes
Changes to Course
- Any change to a course—such as course title, course number, and so forth—must be made using the web form.
Cancelled Course Offerings
- Course offerings that are cancelled must be cancelled through the ASHA CE Provider Portal [PDF] within 45 calendar days of the course offering end date.
Rescheduled Course Offerings
- If a course offering is rescheduled [PDF] and the new start date is not yet known, then the organization must cancel the course offering through the ASHA CE Provider Portal.
- If a course offering is rescheduled and the new start date is known, then the organization must submit changes using the web form. Changes to offering dates must meet the established 3-day submission deadline. ASHA CE will consider extenuating circumstances that may prevent meeting this deadline.
