What are the benefits of using the ASHA CE Registry program to meet the certification maintenance requirement?
There are many benefits of using the CE Registry, especially that your Compliance Form will automatically be submitted on your behalf once you have accumulated 30 professional development hours (PDHs)—or 3 ASHA CEUs—within your 3-year interval. Another benefit of using the ASHA CE Registry program to maintain your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is that you will not have to provide documentation of your activities. If you are randomly selected for a maintenance audit, you will not be required to report your activities or to submit verification of participation for your activities—your ASHA CE Registry transcript will be your verification of participation.
Once you are a member of the CE Registry, you can easily view the courses on your transcript and see how many ASHA CEUs you have earned.
Is participation in the CE Registry mandatory to meet the certification maintenance requirement?
No, participation is not mandatory.
Is there a fee to participate in the CE Registry?
Yes. The annual CE Registry fee is $28 for members and $38 for nonmembers.
