Preparing your taxes doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. This session we’ll walk you through what to do now, so you feel more prepared, confident, and in control this year.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand which tax forms matter to you—whether you get 1099s, W-2s, or file as a business.
  • Know the key tax deadlines for 2025 and what you need to file on time.
  • Get your 2025 books in order by organizing receipts and checking your records so you’re ready to go.
  • Learn how quarterly tax payments work and how to avoid penalties, even if your income changes from month to month.
  • Spot common mistakes (like missing deductions or filing late) and how to avoid them.
  • Explore your options for filing—on your own, with a CPA, or through an online platform—and pick what works best for you.
  • Know what happens after you file: how to track your return, handle what you owe, and plan ahead for next year.
