Andrew Riesen is a mission-driven entrepreneur, financial accountant, and CEO of Heard, a financial back-office solution designed to support therapists in private practice. Before founding Heard, Andrew worked at PWC, where he gained experience as a financial accountant, helped establish an internal software incubator, and co-founded an affordable sales tax solution for small to medium-sized businesses. Passionate about empowering mental health professionals, Andrew focuses on streamlining business operations for therapists, enabling them to focus on client care. Outside of his professional endeavors, Andrew is an avid explorer of the Pacific Northwest, often found trail-running, cycling, or snowboarding in his free time. When he’s not outdoors, he enjoys delving into books and journaling, finding inspiration and reflection in quiet moments.

Forrest Perry is a former CPA and graduated from Gonzaga University with an accounting and finance degree with honors. He started his professional career in Seattle, Washington at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC). At PwC, he worked in the public accounting/external audit department and served a variety of clients both in size and industry. He joined Heard in June 2021 as the first employee due to his strong passion for mental health. While at Heard, he has consulted with thousands of therapists over the past three years and helped build out Heard's teams and processes for tax, accounting/bookkeeping operations, customer support, customer success, onboarding, and sales. He currently leads partnerships at Heard.
