While working on an interprofessional team, you may find yourself needing new skills—such as clarifying team roles and resolving conflict. To help audiologists, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), other professionals, and students master the skills for effective collaboration, the University of British Columbia Health (UBC Health) created an online training course called “Team-Based Care (TBC) on the Run.” This course is free and publicly available.
The TBC on the Run series was created by UBC Health for people at all stages of their careers—from students to working professionals. The modules use videos, quizzes, and other interactive elements to create an engaging course. Each 30-minute module focuses on developing a different IPP skill:
Participants will receive a certificate after completing each module.
To get started, simply access the course and set up an account on UBC Health’s website. This will require taking a short survey and confirming your email address. The class is free and available to audiologists and SLPs at any stage in their careers.
If you have any questions, please email ltsupport@health.ubc.ca.
